I NEED backups. Velero is probably the best option for this.

I should have a local backup and I can pay for a cloud service to store encrypted backups. Backblaze b2 is very cheap at just $6/mo/tb

I ended up using volsync instead. Volumes are backuped to a local minio instance, and Backblaze B2. Backups happen daily and are retained for 7 days. See #457 for migrating services to use backuped PVC's from volsync.
